B's tubes and "comfort item"

I took B to the hospital yesterday morning where she got tubes in both of her ears. Hopefully that will put an end to ear infections and constant fluid in her ears. Saturday night when the nurse called to remind me of our appointment, she asked me a few questions about B. She wondered if she had a normal bedtime, if she was potty trained, if she drank from a bottle or sippy cup, and if she had a comfort item such as a blanky or stuffed animal. I thought about the comfort item for a second and then told the nurse that she didn't have anything that she really loves.

Well, after putting the little pulse ox. thing on her big toe, B was really upset.
She wanted me to take her off the table and hold her. I couldn't calm her down. Until......
I pulled out my daughter's comfort item. Her favorite thing in the world. Something she goes through quicker than her mother.
Her lip gloss. Oh ya, that's my girl. Good thing I carry half the lip gloss aisle in my purse. It was all good after that.
Everything went well and we're hoping for the best.

That is SO funny! I have to tell you that I absolutely LOVE the lipgloss you sent me! When we were in Florida I stocked up on it. I bought 8 tubes. I've given a few away and now I'm panicking because I only have 4 left! I still have plenty left in the tube you sent me. But I'm a stockpiler of product. When I like something, I breathe better knowing there is plenty on the shelf waiting for me...

(I sense a post coming on here...)

How funny. Sweet B. I showed M and she wanted to go to the New Walmart by us and buy sparkly lip gloss. She ran to put the dishes away out of the dishwasher and said, "As soon as I am done working for you will you buy me some lip gloss?" I about fell over laughing my head off.
