The boys new loft

It's weird to think that we moved into this house with just three kids. Now we've got seven. That's crazy! Not that I have seven kids, (well, sort of) but that we've more than doubled our family. Even though I can attempt some projects, adding on more rooms is not one of them. With that being said, we need more room. We need to fit in our house again. I've been working on that for an entire week now. Except for Sunday of course. I'm pooped. Wiped out. Thought about butter. A little bit of butter on this, a little bit of butter on that. Whoops. Kind of lost it this week. Plus my foot kills and I don't know what I've done to it. I can barely walk. Hoping for a better week next week. Hoping to run again. Signing up for the Summer Games, and my half marathon this week. Oh ya, where was I again? Back to the space issue.

I've been cleaning out closets. Again. Filling up bags with stuff and hoping for a D.I. drive soon. I've painted dressers, benches, walls, tore down a 12 foot rock wall in one room, cut it apart and hung parts of it back up in another, rearranged rooms, filled nail holes, and discovered a "space" for the boys. Their very own loft. It's in A and G's room but G and J are having the time of their lives.
"Mom, look at us. But hurry, because it's kind of scary since half our bodies are hanging off!"
Check out J's smile. It says it all. It tells me that all the hard work was worth it.
I can't get them down from there. They talk of having a television and a fridge up there. "Slow down there boys," I tell them. For now, there's a little more space in this house. I'm happy. I'm blessed. My space?...a bubble bath! aww!!

I'm tired just reading about all you've done! But it looks great! My boys would LOVE it.

Way to go T.O. you did it! I hope you feel like it was well worth it. Your boys will love you forever. I can't wait to visit you again and join the boys with the fridge and all. I can't wait to see the rest of the redone rooms. Super mom at work.

Looks like fun. I wish I had your stamina. I feel like there is so much I want to do but no time. Someday. ... .. .. Maybe it will come. Sorry about the injury hope you feel better soon.

I don't know what your symptoms are but from running my half-marathon I got plantar fasciitis. Chad told me to roll a golf ball under my foot. It totally went away. I still do this every morning I think it feels so good. Sad to say...its the closest I'm going to get to a foot massage.

Bret is jealous. He wants to put climbing holds in the house.
