My baby's not a baby

My sweet little S bug. I can't believe you're one today. I'm crying thinking about the last year and how it flew by! How have you been with me for a year? You were once my tiny baby girl that I would stare at in disbelief. This week you've decided that you prefer to walk. Today I took your bottles away and I don't even think you noticed. I've been very busy this year. Perhaps that's why the time has gone by so/too quickly. I hope you know that I love you. That I wanted you. More than you know. Probably more than you'll ever know.

I made mini cupcakes for you today. I think you liked the beater just as much as the cupcakes.

This is the basket of bottles that was on my counter. They decorated my kitchen for twenty one months. Now, the counter is bare. I was looking forward to getting my kitchen back, but now that it is...I realized that the last twenty one months went way too fast. You girls have grown up on me.

I can't look back. I'm excited to see what the next year will bring. I'll enjoy every new little thing that you do, the words you'll say, and the friend that you'll be to B. You, are one of my blessings. Perhaps, one of my miracles. Happy 1st birthday. I love you S bug.

I love your collage of S. Soo cute! Your counter will look a little different without the milk powder and bottles. Every stage is great, so I am glad that you aren't looking back, but moving forward!

I love the collage of photos too! It's crazy how the kiddos get so big so fast...seems quicker with each additional child! And glad you'll be getting some counter space back.

Now I remember Lynn - I thought it was from BYUH :) Small, small world...

We know the Earles from when we were in the Eielson Ward together in North Pole. Jake flies much larger planes than my husband ;) What a neat family, huh?
