On to Hubbard Glacier and Sitka

Our second port was up to Hubbard Glacier. It was amazing. We got to see the glacier calving. Me, my flip flops and I. Somehow I got to Alaska without my Uggs. The weather was freezing and raining, but it was awesome. It just made the whole experience that much neater.

Then we headed for Sitka. We took the tender from the ship to the land. We could see our ship through the fog and enjoyed our walk through the small town.

There were raspberries everywhere. I loved it.
We had fun making our own totem poles.

As we headed back to the ship, the fog had departed and it was a beautiful day.
Laying out Alaskan style. Not really. I had shoe issues those two days. I never had the right pair.

It looks beautiful and the raspberries look so tasty! I always have shoe issues on vacations too...we always seem to end up buying me a pair because I didn't bring the right kind....oh well!! Who can complain about that?!
