The girls are asking all the time if they can have a picnic. It usually involves a blanket, several tupperwares and whatever food or snacks they can find. Today they never asked if they could have a picnic. I just found them having one. With the hedgehogs from the yard. And they were praying over their yogurts, apples, water and apricots. Made me smile.
Note B's blue arms and legs. That's from the marshmallow soup she made while I was on the phone with my mom this morning. She used the entire green bottle of food coloring and quite a bit of the blue. Thank goodness it was on the table and not carried off to the carpet or furniture. Can you even imagine??!!
They must have been in quite the picnic/cooking mood today because during a phone call this afternoon with a friend, I found B stirring four eggs that she had cracked by herself, and S had her dolls lined up on the stairs feeding them yogurt, apples, carrots and strawberries. Complete with yogurt on every mouth and smeared all over the carpet, tile, apples, etc.
