Meteor crater

One of the things I love about road trips are the quick yank your car off the road to see something or to stop and take a picture.  We did just that on our family vacation.  Just outside Flagstaff, Arizona we saw a sign for a Meteor Crater.  We thought, hey, we're here, let's just follow the signs and see what we see.  We were expecting a twenty foot dip in the desert.  But....

We found this monstrous crater.  There was a cost, but it was a great way to start the trip and we were glad that we followed the signs.

Next stop.  Albuquerque, New Mexico

I was just looking around and found this gem (: For some reason this was a really memorable place for me when I was about B and S's age and we went on a road trip as a family. A really neat spot!
