There's SNOW place like home

Hi all of you cute YCLs and leaders.  Greetings from the land of twisters, corn fields, cardinals, the yellow brick road, all things OZ, and me, Sister L.  I'm excited to be working with you this year for girls' camp.  It's going to be a great year, with a great theme, and I'm one heck of a cowardly lion.  haha  (I was sporting an awesome hat and tail when we introduced the theme to your ward leaders a couple weeks ago.)

Anyway...I LOVE girls' camp.  I love the Spirit there, I love how girls become friends with other girls that they might not otherwise, I love wearing a ponytail, I love to laugh and I absolutely stink at skits.  Seriously.  I pee my pants because I laugh too hard and get embarrassed.

I'm over the nighty night treats and I've been collecting some neat quotes that you might use.  I thought it would only be right if I had my own quote there for you and that you'd be able to get a glimpse as to who I am.  I've looked around for a Kansas sign, possibly the Wicked Witch of the West overhead,  and couldn't find the Tin Man again after seeing him this morning.  So, with a record snowfall of fourteen inches in over fifty years, the ideas were flooding in.  Here's what I came up with.  :)

Although it's fun being here in Kansas and the thought of it is pretty dang cool with the theme this year, I can't wait to get back, because there really is no place like home!  :)   Have a great meeting and I'll see you soon.

Sister L
