Okay, so it wasn't exactly like that! The kids were thrilled for today and they all got the teachers we requested so we were stoked! I wasn't quite sure how it would be dropping off S at school for kindergarten. After all, this was my seventh time doing it. Every other time I smiled excited for them knowing how excited they were to finally be old enough to go to school. This time though was different. As S walked away to her classroom, I had to fight the tears welling up in my eyes. I was closing a chapter in my life that is all I have ever known for almost twenty one years. I would no longer have children at home. I walked away sad but eagerly looked forward to taking funny photos I had planned on doing and then I was happy. It was a good day.
