Stop the car! There's a barn!!

My Sister and I headed off to Oregon for the weekend to attend a quinceƱera. It was four days of laughing our heads off! We arrived in Eugene only to realize that we had flown into the "wrong" airport. Our destination was an almost two hour drive from there. We asked if they had a map of Oregon and we headed out not having the slightest clue at where we were headed, what we would see or do for four days, or if we'd be able to find our way back.

But...having a sense of humor really paid off! We just giggled our way around the state asking people for directions everywhere we went.

On our trip from Eugene north, we started to notice that there were really neat barns everywhere. I kind of got obsessive about it. We were in too much of a hurry to take pictures of them on the way to McMinnville that first night so we told ourselves that we'd take pictures of them on our way back. Thing is...we were even in a bigger hurry on the way back, but I was not going to miss out on my barns. So, it was a stop and go, whip around, back up, run across the highway, whiplash of a trip back taking pictures. It was a blast!

There have got to be hundreds of barns there. Here are the ones that we could snag on our way back.
