Happiness is ...

Last night for Family Home Evening we discussed questions that we might get from neighbors, acquaintances  and friends regarding being a "Mormon".  One of the final questions we talked about was, "Why do Mormons serve missions? or Why are you going to go on a mission?"  The kids were so cute and honest with their answers.  We talked about sharing what we have with others so that they too can be happy.  I went on to explain that being happy isn't just driving an Audi to school like so many others, having tons of money or going through life without trials, grief and heartache.   Then I shared my testimony to my children from the first question we discussed.

Happiness is...

1.  Knowing that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world and the Son of our loving Heavenly Father.

2.  Knowing that Christ's Atonement allows mankind to be saved from their sins and return to live with God and their families forever.

3.  Knowing that Christ's original Church as described in the New Testament has been restored in modern times.

Isn't that beautiful?

I belong to The Church of JESUS CHRIST

I am a Mormon.

I know it.

I live it.

I love it!
