Happy Derby Day!
Today I told the girls about the Kentucky Derby and how all the ladies wear big pretty hats. They rummaged through my closet and each found a hat so that we could wear them today. Too bad they thought we were flying to Louisville to see the Derby. Someday.....
I sent out a text yesterday inviting families over for a potluck and to hang with us today promising Derby Pie and virgin Mint Juleps. We had four families come over and we had a lot of fun eating, the kids swam, we visited for hours and watched the race of course. Hoping we can have a triple crown winner this year with "California Chrome". Go baby go!
