It's here! He's going to the Canada Edmonton Mission

A received his mission call today, and I think the ding dong deleted the picture of  him holding his call.  Anyway...

He as been called to serve in the Canada Edmonton Mission and reports on October 22, 2014.  He is excited about it and relieved at the same time.  He is happy that it is not state side, he is happy that it is not South or Central America (too boring, everyone goes there), happy that he is going where some of our family is from, relieved that he won't be eating whale blubber and relieved that he isn't learning a language.  Sounds like the perfect mission for him.

After opening his call he raced upstairs to the computer to google his mission.  The kids quickly followed him up there excited to see pictures and learn facts.  G leaned over the banister a few minutes later and asked, "Mom, aren't we going to Banf National Park next year?"  I responded, "Yes".  He then informed me that it is in A's mission.  So, I guess we won't be going there next summer.  Another time.  Isn't that crazy?

So excited for this boy of mine and can't believe he'll be leaving just around the corner.
