I've been busy playing "Lucky" the leprachan by getting the house all torn up and decked out ready for St. Patrick's Day tomorrow. I tipped over the furniture...
Threw out shamrocks and gold $1 coins...
Made pots-o-gold complete with gold wrapper candies...
And...
Filled out my NCAA tournament/March Madness/D's Christmas brackets.
I've got a good feeling about it this year. I smell a win in my future. I'm feeling lucky. As for D and his Christmas, ya, he's taking off work the next couple of days. He'll sit on the couch, run to Pei Wei, change the channels like crazy, drink his Dew, run to Zaba's, check out all our brackets, and be in March Madness Heaven. ALL weekend. So, the good wife that I am, I'll be leaving town with the girlies and letting him eat it all up. He deserves it. You know? This is the guy that let's me leave the country every December, let's my sister come down with her five children, puts up with mountains of laundry, and the list goes on. I'm going to go interview my family Veterans to get a greater appreciation for their service and their perspective on being a Veteran. I'm going to make it into a book for my children this year.
Anyway... go grab your green shirt, green earrings or something so that you don't get pinched.
St Patrick's Day food? Na. Don't do corned beef and cabbage and green milk and biscuits is just a turn off. Yuck. Perhaps waffles with green sprinkles for breakfast. That's about it.
Happy St. Patrick's Day.
And to you D, Merry March Madness. Love you!

What fun! I didn't do anything very festive for St. Patty's Day...except wear green and...eat corned beef and cabbage. Yep. We sure did. It is super yummo. Too funny that you mentioned it!
