If you lost something on top of the house, how would you get it off?

Grab a random fence post from somewhere.  Put a men's size 14 shoe on the end of it.

Extend the fence post with the size 14 shoe at the end up to the roof and then gently pull the ball down....into the gutter.  Leave it there.

Return the random fence post.  And that's how it's done.
