Anyway... I love him. I'm proud of him. He, my very own seventeen year old is one of my heroes. We have talks about peer pressure. We compare to the different peer pressures each of us deals or has dealt with as teenagers. They ARE different. He stands as a pillar of strength to everyone that knows him. He never budges. He stands steadfast and immovable. I'm pleased to have him as my son.

One year until he votes
I can't believe it, but C has turned 17! He asked for clothes and cologne for his birthday. Sure signs of him growing up. He's become a wonderful young man.
He's taller than me now, his voice has deepened and he's nearly an adult. I made the comment the other day that he'd be able to vote next year. The little guys asked if he was going to. I told them that he should since it's such a privilege.

So just reading your title made my heart skip a beat! Surely our children cannot be growing up so quickly?! I am so thankful to have gotten to know you through the blogging world! Thanks for sharing your amazing family with me.
Having teenagers is a special treat. Keep up the great communication. You're a good mom.
