Ever wonder what a day is like with my little girls? Come on in and I'll show you.
I painted my front doors this week and when I was all done and ready to put the paint away, I turned around only to find the gallon of paint spilled on the welcome mat and bleeding through to the cement. I wasn't sure who or what to hose down first. I took off
running with S to the kitchen sink to clean her up and then hosed down the front yard. Don't be fooled that I don't always have little helpers.
If I close my eyes for just a minute...all heck breaks loose and the house is turned upside down. Here the girls dumped out the chips from Chile's, the pumpkin spice granola from Trader Joes and flooded the kitchen while doing it. See S's grin as the water is pouring off the counter.

Here's S in time out after flooding the kitchen and smiling about it.

The girls and I love to shop at Savers. We've found lots of neat things lately. As I throw things into the cart, B throws her own clothes off and puts on the hats, shoes, and dresses that I've thrown in. As we're at the register checking out, I have to stop to dress my child as she's down to her diaper now. See my great shoes I've scored there.

B changed S's diaper this morning.

Here's my very own blogging corner. The girls like to peek over the desk and yell out names of the faces they recognize.

The girls have obviously seen little g open up doors with a butter knife before because they invaded my bubble bath yesterday. Today I saw S trying to open the bathroom door when B was in there. Probably naked in the sink if it's anything like the last few days.
I just organized my shoes in the closet this week. Well, I just turned around and found this. I swear, I need to lock these girls up!! (The least they could do was put the cute ones on top. lol)

B is in time out regularly. She's a biter. She stands there with her nose on the wall and won't move. I forget she's there. Finally after several minutes I'll hear her whimper and go get her.
I get distracted writing letters only to find the girls flooding the kitchen and bathing naked in the kitchen sinks. Today I found both of them completely undressed on the counter in the bathroom. They were filling the sink with water and cleaning their noses with q-tips.
We have reading time.
Every once in awhile I get my mail. I got my first passport today. Yay!! I just had to throw that in there because I'm so excited.

Sometimes the girls nap. You've seen past pictures. It's crazy during
nap time. The room is totally torn to shreds and then the girls finally collapse on their beds. This morning they were being cute and saying they were going "night night". I could only wish. When it
was nap time today, B
kneeled down to say her prayer.
They are a lot of work. Some days it's a real challenge. But...it is so much fun. I love watching them together. S will go to B to be consoled. They hug each other all day. B is a little mother to S. They kneel by each other at night to say their prayers. They share drinks. They find each other's babies.
Someone in my ward once told D, that the girls were friends in Heaven. I like to think that.
Things are good inside. Even when things aren't perfect, I know that happiness is wanting what I have.
I'm doing well. Life is good.

A passport? Where you headed??
Who needs a passport? How could you find a place better than a home where two little girls have loads of fun each day with a mother who can let the water keep dripping while she's taking pictures? Yes, TO, you may need the passport for a well deserved rest but your home is where it's truly happening!
I LOVED this. I've been stewing on a post like this all week as my house seems to be falling down around me! Piles and messes everywhere! I'm being taken over!!! So fun to glimpse your life with those adorable little girls. Oh my goodness they are too cute!
Your girls are so cute! I have those days, most days too. I agree with Aunt Jan when she says, "home is where it is truly happening." It's also where you go most crazy, but I wouldn't want it any other way.
Cutie girls. And so sweet that they get to be together! I can relate with messes around every.single.corner....what chaos and what fun, eh?! Your doors looks good btw, I have been thinking about doing mine....
Great post TO. Iloved everything about it. I even loved your darling passport picture. Way to go. You'll be needing that for our trip to Dom. Repub. Keep the pics coming. They make me have a permagrin. Your life really is good and priceless.
Love the cute shoes you got!! Way CUTE!!! Your Girls are WAY adorable!!
I love it! I can still remember how me and my little sisters were terrors for my mother. I think it passes. I'd like to think it has passed. They're so adorable. :)
I'm so grateful for my hectic life! Congrats on the Passport!
