My CrAzY dAy

Well, well, well. Today I'm definitely keeping it real! I always do, but today was strange.

First of all, I had my new NordicTrack x7i delivered yesterday. Yippee! But...the lamos delivered it assembled! That's not how it was supposed to happen. It was supposed to be delivered and then someone else was supposed to come and put it together. It's now floating like an island in the middle of my bedroom, rather than its intended area in the family room. This morning I was talking to the Sears delivery department when all of a sudden, I noticed a bird flying around the kitchen. I was screaming and screaming. All the while, the Sears lady is on the phone. Finally, I had to tell her that I'd call her back because a bird was in my house. I quickly called D. He didn't answer his phone. I don't know how he would have saved my life seeing how he works twenty minutes away. So, I called my favorite neighbors to have Clay come to the rescue. He was out golfing, so his wife Gail came running over with her friend. We opened the front door and started shooing the bird. Poor thing, it just kept flying into the closed windows. (Actually, Gail did all the work. I just kept screaming!) Finally, she shooed it out of the blinds and it flew out the front door. All I could do was think about the bird flying throughout the house and never being caught. I knew my boys would never sleep in the house with a bird loose. (Either would I)

I went to the dentist today (yes, aunt J, I went) and as my chair was laid down, the dentist leaned over and gave me a smooch right on the lips. He then had the nerve to say, "You could at least open your mouth a little". He's a really good kisser, I mean dentist. I've known him for years. In fact, I go see him again tomorrow. I may just open my mouth a little. lol

Tonight I headed to Walmart with G, J, B and S. While we were at the check out, the cashier lady, had the nerve to say, "Four kids huh? You must be nuts! I had two kids and they drove my crazy." I stood there stunned. I told her, "Uh, no, it's fun". I can't imagine what she would have said if I had corrected her and told her that I actually had seven kids. Oh the horror! She was a gem of a lady. I can honestly say that that is the first negative comment I've gotten in over four years. Most people praise me, think I'm wonderful, and think that it's great that I have seven children.

Somehow, the house has returned to its tornado state. Who am I kidding? Somehow means B and S! I couldn't do it today. You've seen the pictures. Not only was the house torn to shreds but was also polka dotted with wet panties here and there. I thought there for a moment I would potty train both girls at the same time. Not! I even facebooked that I was bored and wanted someone to come play with me today. I'll pull myself together tomorrow and whip this house back into shape. I wouldn't mind a human cage. A told me that the girls needed one the other day. I'm now agreeing with him. The messes those girls make together is overwhelming.

Our main computer had a ginormous virus on it the other day. I was sick at the thought of all of our pictures and files lost. I thought of the visa commercials where they list prices, but the memories are priceless. That's what I thought when I wasn't sure if I'd have my pictures and journals ever again. Needless to say, that's why I was at Walmart getting an ultra-portable Hard Drive. I'm in the process of loading all my priceless things on it.

Thankful and grateful for the good things that happened today. But looking forward to order tomorrow!

What a day! Wish I could be there to come hang out on your couch. I could use a break too!

Have I told you that I love your family picture? I really do.

Yawn. I have to go. I'm doing a spinning class in 7 hours. I've never done one before and I'm frightened!

I saw a shirt the other day you need to start wearing. It says " No they're not all mine. I gather up all the neighbor's kids and then go shopping."

I love how you're really keeping it real! I mean we all ask for a "normal" day here and there, but in all reality is there any such thing as a normal day?

Don't ever see Alfred Hitchcock's THE BIRDS. And sounds like you have a very friendly dentist who helps his patients feel comfortable any way he can. Way to go, D.

Yep, that is a crazy day! Goodness! Good thing you got the bird out. I don't think bird poop would've been much fun to clean up, especially considering the wet panties!

If you pay my way out, I'll come baby-sit while you clean. I'm sure C wouldn't want to do that. That's where I come in.
