Crazy hair day

Today is one of my boys' favorite days of the year. It's crazy hair day at the elementary school. I agree to let them grow their hair out a little so that we can do some fun things for this special occasion. Here's how WE do crazy hair day.

The boys tell me what they want, what colors they want, and we get to work. We buzz, clip, glue, blow dry, paint, and then super glue accessories into the hair. Yes, we superglue them in. The hair is buzzed off tomorrow, so we might as well make sure they stay through school, recess, and five hours of scout day camp tonight.

J wanted five faux hawks with different colors.

G wanted a Lego surfer guy in a wave. His hair wasn't quite long enough so we glued some of his own hair in as extensions. He thinks it's great!

That is awesome!!! I'm fairly certain I would never do that. We lack all creativity I suppose.

You win Best Mom of the Year Award!!
