C is in Mexico!!

C finally got to Mexico today.  I hate saying that because it's not finally.  That means that we've been impatient, and doubting.  It's more the fact that we're in shock that his visa actually came through.  He has learned to love the San Diego Mission that he has served in for four and a half months.  He loved the people, his companions and his mission president.  He got the phone call last week saying that he would be leaving for Mexico.  That was a tough and unexpected phone call.  I got to speak to C from the airport after picking up his visa in Los Angelos.  It was wonderful talking to him.  He sounded so good.

He knows that he is going where the Lord needs and wants him.  He is obedient and ready to go.  But....it has been hard for him to leave his mission.

His new mission president and wife picked him up at the airport and took him to the Guadalajara temple.  He looks so handsome.  He will be serving in the Villa Hidalgo area up in the state of Nayarit.

Although he will be making lots of transitions, I know the Lord is there for him and he will learn to love the Mexico Guadalajara Mission just as he did the San Diiego Mission.
